The European Human Genetics Conference (ESHG) is the biggest and most significant conference in Europe concerning genetics. This year in Vienna, the genetics community comes together to showcase the latest scientific findings and new laboratory innovations and technology for a four-day conference. We are excited to attend and get a chance to present GenomSys, our products and meet with customers and partners. Meet us at the ESHG this weekend in Vienna!

Luca Trotta CSOI’m looking forward to finally attending the ESHG in person again. I am very excited about the new findings presented at this prestigious congress and the exchange with the genetic community. Especially because of the new IVDR in Europe, I am looking forward to the discussions and how GenomSys Variant Analyzer, our CE-certified analysis platform, the only one running natively in MPEG-G, can positively impact genetic testing—saving time, shrinking data size and thus making the analysis more efficient,” says Luca Trotta, Chief Scientific Officer at GenomSys.

GenomSys’ solutions enable geneticists around the world to improve their DNA analysis efficiently, leveraging the MPEG-G standard. At the ESHG, we will showcase the worldwide first analysis tool natively operating on the MPEG-G format GenomSys Variant Analyzer and GenomSys MPEG-G Toolkit.

GenomSys Solutions

Figure 1 – GenomSys professional solution workflow for genomic laboratories in their analysis of genomic data. The upfront conversion with GenomSys MPEG-G Toolkit reduces the file size and thus the time needed to transmit and process the data, leaving more time to interpret the analysis results – using GenomSys Variant Analyzer – without waiting for the upload to finish.

GenomSys Variant Analyzer is an IVD CE-marked, cloud-based and intuitive-to-use platform enabling geneticists to speed up their analysis and genuinely supporting them in their daily clinical genomic analysis. Covering the alignment, variant calling (SNVs, InDels, CNVs), and variant annotation, fully automated for CES and WES analysis and natively running on the more efficient ISO standard MPEG-G. Delivering reliable results upon which geneticists can build their interpretation.

GenomSys Variant Analyzer enables laboratories to fully take advantage of the new ISO standard MPEG-G when combined with the upfront conversion of GenomSys MPEG-G Toolkit. The Toolkit is a collection of various informatics tools for more efficient genetic data management, including a user-friendly program that allows the conversion from FASTQ to MPEG-G and vis versa with a few clicks. The conversion reduces the file size and thus the time needed to transmit and process the data, leaving more time to interpret the analysis results without waiting for the upload to finish.
