GenomSys will be participating at the BioData World Congress in Basel from November 2nd – 4th, including a keynote presentation by our Chief Technology Officer on Interoperability and Data reuse for genomic data.

Every year some of the world’s most influential decision-makers in genomic data participate in the BioData Congress. BioData World Congress is Europe’s largest congress covering big data in pharmaceutical development and healthcare. The congress was initially designed through a partnership with EMBL-EBI and the Sanger Institute five years ago to tackle the issues of driving big data into the clinic and pharmaceutical development in the most streamlined way possible.

GenomSys Claudio AlbertiThis will be an excellent opportunity for us to showcase our solutions at one of the most prestigious industry event in the world,” says Claudio Alberti, CTO of GenomSys. “I am happy to be one of the speakers at this year’s BioData World Congress and look forward to interacting with the many highly qualified participants. I believe that our unique solutions based on the ISO/IEC 23092 (MPEG-G) standard for genomic data representation can provide a meaningful boost to push genomic medicine to the next level.

GenomSys’ professional solutions enable geneticists around the world to improve their DNA analysis efficiently, leveraging the MPEG-G standard. At the BioData Congress, we will showcase the worldwide first analysis tool natively operating on the MPEG-G format – GenomSys Variant Analyzer.
